The Birth and Rise of
the Torikizoku Brand

1985
  • Founded Torikizoku, a yakitori restaurant, in Higashiosaka, Osaka.
1986
  • Introduced the iconic single-price system, setting all menu items at ¥250.
  • Established Eternal Service Co., Ltd.
1987
  • Opened izakaya "Ennichi".
1995
  • Shifted away from the izakaya concept to focus solely on the "Torikizoku" yakitori format.

1996-2003

Accelerating Expansion
with a Long-Term Vision

1997
  • Set up corporate headquarters in Higashinari-ku, Osaka.
  • Began actively recruiting franchise partners.
2000
  • Accelerated the pace of new openings to two locations per year.

2003-2005

The Major Breakthrough : Opening of
the Dotonbori Location

2003
  • Opened "Torikizoku" Dotonbori location, the brand's first upper-floor restaurant.
2004
  • Following the success of the Dotonbori location, accelerated expansion into major downtown areas across Osaka.
  • Relocated the global corporate headquarters to Chuo-ku, Osaka.

2005-2009

Entering the Kanto and Tokai Markets:
A Stepping Stone
for Nationwide Expansion

  • Opened the first Kanto location in Nakano, Tokyo.
2007
  • Reached 100 Torikizoku locations milestone.
2009
  • Opened the first Tokai location in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.

2009-2013

Corporate Name Change and Strengthening the Management Foundation

2009
  • Changed the corporate name to Torikizoku Co., Ltd.
  • Launched an internal project team for IPO preparation and stock listing.
2010
  • Relocated the corporate headquarters and tare (sauce) production facility to Tachiba, Naniwa-ku, Osaka.
  • Expanded tare (sauce) production capacity to support future store expansions.
  • Reached 200 Torikizoku locations milestone.
2012
  • Reached 300 Torikizoku locations milestone.
  • Became the No. 1 yakitori chain by market share.

2014-2019

Enhancing the Social Value of the Food Service Industry

2014
  • Launched an initiative to increase the use of domestically sourced ingredients (“Farm-to-Table”).
  • Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange JASDAQ.
2015
  • Transferred listing to the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
2016
  • Assigned to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
  • Achieved full compliance with domestic sourcing standards across all Torikizoku food menu items.
  • Reached 500 Torikizoku locations milestone.
2019
  • Adopted Kyocera’s Amoeba Management system to strengthen profitability management.

2000-2023

Transition to
a Holding Company Structure
to Accelerate Business Expansion

2021
  • Transitioned to a holding company structure.
  • Changed its company name to Torikizoku Holdings Co., Ltd.
  • Announced long-term vision, “Global Chicken Food Company”.
  • Established TORIKI BURGER Co., Ltd.
  • Opened the first specialty chicken burger restaurant "TORIKI BURGER" in Shinagawa, Tokyo.
2022
  • Opened the first Kyushu region location in Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture.
2023
  • Welcomed Daikichi System Co., Ltd., the operator of the "Yakitori Daikichi", into the Group as a wholly-owned subsidiary through a 100% share acquisition.
  • Opened the first Chugoku region location in Okayama, Okayama Prefecture.
  • Opened the first Okinawa location in Naha.
  • Opened the first Hokkaido location in Sapporo.
  • Established TORIKIZOKU USA INC. in California, USA.
  • Opened the first Shikoku region location in Tokushima, Tokushima Prefecture.
  • Opened the first Hokuriku & Koshinetsu region location in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture.
  • Opened the first Tohoku region location in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture.

2024-now

Expanding into the Global Markets

2024
  • Changed the corporate name to Eternal Hospitality Group Co., Ltd.
  • Announced new vision, “Global YAKITORI Family”.
  • Acquired yakitori restaurant HASU in Los Angeles, USA, and commenced operations.
  • Established Tori Best CO.,Ltd. in Taipei, Taiwan.
  • Established TORIKIZOKU KOREA INC. in Seoul, South Korea.
  • Relocated the global corporate headquarters to Chuo-ku, Osaka.
  • Opened zoku, the Group’s first directly developed overseas brand, in Los Angeles, USA.
  • Opened the first Taiwan Torikizoku location in Taipei.
  • Opened the first South Korea Torikizoku location in Seoul. Launched an internal entrepreneurship support program "Torikizoku Partners" for small-scale store model.
  • Established Torikizoku Shanghai Co., Ltd. in Shanghai, China.
  • Opened the first Hong Kong Torikizoku location in Tuen Mun.
2025
  • Opened the first USA "TORIKIZOKU" location in Los Angeles, California.
  • Opened the first China Torikizoku location in Shanghai.
  • Opened mozu in Seoul, South Korea, the Group’s first high-end brand for global markets.
  • Established Eternal Hospitality Japan Co., Ltd.
  • Established ei inc.
